Events Disclaimer
By entering a Your Town CIC event you agree to the below terms and conditions:
I hereby declare that:
(1) I am an amateur according to the eligibility rule of UKA.
(2) I am medically fit to run and I will do so at my own risk and agree not to hold the organisers responsible in any way for any injury or loss resulting from my participation in the event, prior to, during or after the event.
(3) I understand the organisers reserve the right to alter the arrangements and conditions should circumstances require. The course is usually unsuitable for wheelchairs and prams, unless otherwise specified.
(4) I understand that Your Town CIC events are very likely to have photography and videography done at the event for promotional purposes and that if I would prefer not to appear in any footage / images released by event organisers in relation to the event I must make myself known to event organisers and notify them of my decision.
In the unfortunate cancellation of the event through circumstance beyond the control of the race organisers. I understand, and accept, the rules and terms of the entry including that there will be no refund of race fees.
By entering this event, the athlete indicates acceptance of UKA rules.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions apply to your use of the Your Town CIC website and the services offered by Your Town CIC

‘Service’ means any one or more of the services offered by Your Town CIC
‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ are a reference to Your Town CIC;
‘you’ and ‘your’ are a reference to you;
‘Website’ means any of our websites through which the services are offered.
We reserve the right to change the terms, conditions, and notices under which the Your Town CIC Service(s) is offered. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these terms and conditions and additional terms posted on the Your Town CIC Website. Your continued use of the Your Town CIC Service(s) constitutes your agreement to all such terms, conditions, and notices.
1. SERVICE
You can use the Your Town CIC website to register and pay for entry into events detailed on the Your Town CIC website, get information on Your Town CIC initiatives and purchase Your Town products & merchandise.
2. CHARGES
Your Town CIC has incurred setup fees, and pays card processing charges and internet hosting charges on an ongoing basis. To keep the service viable, there is usually a modest transaction charge applied to each race entry. The race organiser decides whether they will pay the transaction charge or pass this onto the entrant. Where the organiser chooses to pay the transaction charge themselves, there is no surcharge to the entrant.
3. TERMINATION
You may terminate your use of the Your Town CIC website by request at our Contact Us section.
4. MEMBER ACCOUNT, PASSWORD, AND SECURITY
The Service requires you to open an account for your own personal use. You must complete the registration process by providing us with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form. You may not use anyone else’s account at any time, without the permission of the account holder.

5. NO UNLAWFUL OR PROHIBITED USE
As a condition of your use of the Service, you will not use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, conditions, and notices. You may not use the Service in any manner, which could damage, disable, overburden, or impair any Your Town CIC Service(s) (or the network(s) connected to any Your Town CIC Service(s)) or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of any Your Town CIC Service. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any service, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to any Your Town CIC Service, through hacking, password mining or any other means. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available through the Your Town CIC Service(s).

Your Town CIC strongly advises all members to consult with a doctor before commencing any training plan.
We endeavour to provide a convenient and functional service, but we do not guarantee or provide any other warranties that the provided content will be error free or that the Your Town CIC Website or Your Town CIC Service(s) or the server that operates them are free of viruses or other harmful components.
If your use of the Service results in the need for servicing or replacing property, material, equipment or data, we will not be responsible for such costs.
Without limiting the above provisions, to the extent permitted by law everything on the Your Town CIC Website and the Your Town CIC Service(s) is provided to you “as is” and “as available” without warranty or condition of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of the intellectual property rights of any third party. 7. INDEMNITY
In using the Service you exonerate Your Town CIC and any persons associated in any way with the Service, in respect of all and every action or claim resulting from any accident, injury, death or illness which may be sustained during participation in the Service.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Your Town CIC, our officers, directors, and employees from and against all claims, actions or demands, liabilities, and settlements, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising in connection with your use of the Service or resulting from, or alleged to result from, your use of the Service or your violation of these terms and conditions.
8. REFUND POLICY
Events – Your Town CIC will typically offer refunds for event tickets for cancellations within 7 days of initial booking, provided that this is more than 14 days from the event taking place, unless otherwise specified.
Products – Your Town CIC will refund any products returned within 28 days of purchase, unless otherwise specified.
