EVENT UPDATE – 19.09.21 / GIVE YOUR TOWN THE RUN AROUND
I am really sad to say that “Give Your Town The Run Around 2021” has been cancelled.
This event means the world to me, it has been the spark for so much and this decision has been so difficult, but due to a few things both personally and professionally it’s the correct thing to do.
Back in 2014 I had a vision of bringing something positive, something with meaning to my home town of Hoddesdon that could connect the town to the wider community and showcase this great little town in new ways. So much more has been achieved since and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to serve my local community in this way.
2020 was obviously a big year for so many reasons and it really hurt this event in so many ways. My desire to bring this event back in 2021 was huge but as I say due to things out of my control both professionally and personally I am gutted to say it’s just not possible. My hope is this amazing event will shine again and we will back in 2022.
I am in process of speaking to potential local community partners who can support this incredible event in a more sustainable way moving forwards, my hope is “Give Your Town The Run Around” is still around long after I’m gone, it’s always been about Hoddesdon Town and energising the wider community to take part, give back and make where we live the best it can be.
Places can be transferred to 2022 or full refunds can be given.

I am so grateful to everyone who has ever supported me & Give Your Town The Run Around over the years, Runners, volunteers, sponsors.
It will be back, I’m positive of that, just not in 2021.
